The Full Embodiment Story

Details about our programs and bios on the founders

We honor the trauma, the beauty and the mystery, and our experience proves that healing is possible.

Tom Callanan and Ariel Giarretto, the founders of the Full Embodiment Model (FE), are driven by a passion to educate and open up the body’s mysteries, while at the same time recognizing that for many the body is not a friendly place, and sexuality is often scary and shameful.

We bring our combined years of experience as people voraciously committed to our own healing; as professionals addressing sexual abuse in men and women, as practitioners of somatically-based trauma recovery, group process, and mindfulness practices; and as ongoing students of sexuality, bodywork, meditation, and neuroscience.

We offer an open, non-judgmental space where we recognize that we’re all wounded in our sexuality and all products of societal/cultural subjugation and/or religious oppression. With open hearts, compassion, humility and understanding, we work side-by-side to heal all that’s been divided in each of us so that we might become fully embodied agents of change in the world.

We offer workshops, private sessions and webinars oriented towards self-acceptance, full comfort in the self, that grants us easy access to enhanced pleasure and the embodied sensuality and potency with which we were all born.

A large percentage of our participants are therapists and other health professionals who want to take their personal exploration in sexuality to the next level and learn how to work more effectively with sexuality issues with their clients.

Our Approach

Each workshop employs a friendly mix of lectures, videos, experiential exercises and supported group discussions. The body is seen as the ultimate experiencer and our primary source of wisdom and pleasure.  Tom and Ariel merge their many decades of combined skill and expertise to deliver proven methods that solidify a connection to the core/authentic self, facilitate genuine self-love, and secure a new and dynamic relationship with our bodies."

Although our workshops are designed to push edges, the pace is slow and easy. Every exercise encourages choice and embodied consent, and all boundaries will be respected. We are not a program that “pushes through” but values “being with” ourselves in every moment. There will be no nudity or overt sexual exploration during workshop hours, and all touch is limited to self touch, or consensual co-touch in pairs. Your identity as a workshop participant, along with the nature of the exercises and the identities of other participants, is kept strictly confidential."
