Further Strategies for Healing Sexual Trauma and Sexuality

Part 4 of the 4 Part Certificate Series

Open as a stand alone workshop to any healing professional.

With an additional focus on couples, especially who have experienced sexual trauma as a child, sexual assault as adults, or with grapple with sexual incompatibilities, or those who just generally resist being in their bodies.

As an adjunct to "Essential Strategies of Healing Sexual Trauma” Ariel will discuss common issues that arise in supervision. In this workshop we will look at:

Professional Content

  • Working with Couples with issues that affect intimacy

  • Spicing up long-term relationships

  • Sex and aging

  • How to support female and male survivors

  • Low or incompatible Libido

  • Pelvic complaints—including vaginismus, chronic pain and common sexual dysfunctions—for both women and men

  • Infertility

  • Kink and BDSM

  • Sexual fantasies

  • Porn addiction

What you will learn personally:

  • Get comfortable talking about the body and discussing sexuality issues with your clients and intimates.

  • Learn a variety of strategies working with couples, or those who desire to couple healthily, and establish new and healthy ways of relating.

Who will benefit:

  • Therapists, psychologists, touch therapists, sex educators, intimacy coaches and any practitioner who wishes to become more adept at somatically treating sexual trauma and sexuality issues.

Anyone currently in the SE training can receive 2 hours of consultation credit toward SEP.

Time schedule:

Class will meet every morning at 8:00AM Pacific time and finish at 3:00 PM Pacific time

We will have a one hour lunch break at 11:00, and two 15 breaks every 45 minutes.

Cancellation policy:

• A full refund will be given if the training is canceled by us.

• You have a 2 week grace period for a full refund if you change your mind

• A full refund, minus a $100 administrative fee, will be issued for cancellations made no later than One Month before the start date.

• Cancellations made after One month before the start date will be refunded 50% of the total tuition paid.

• No refund will be issued for no‐shows or if registration is canceled 4 days before any training start.

At the end of the program, and if you have attended all the required hours and completed all the exercises you will receive a “Certificate of Completion”.

Continuing Education:

Course meets the qualifications for 17.25 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; and

“Credits.Education, #1032827, is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs. Credits.Education maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.”

The cost for 17 Continuing Education (CE) credits will be $40. An email from Credits Education will be sent to all participants who complete the course."
